PASTOR KEITH'S TESTIMONY

God had been calling me as a Pastor for many years, when multiple Christian people in my life kept giving me a word of encouragement, that God was going to use me to change lives. When I was first approached with this news, it was back in 2017 from a close friend Rajesh. Back in those days I was so lost in pornography, that I was hiding everything from everyone. My entire life was a mask, as I walked with one foot in the church and one in deviant sexual immorality. My first encounter with pornography was at the age of nine, and what followed was 40+ years of porn use that grew darker and darker.

My porn use left a devastating path of destruction in its wake and culminated in an FBI Raid on my home and workplace for pornographic videos I downloaded off of a file sharing app containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), back in 2021.​

The FBI took six months to finish their investigation and I was arrested in January of 2023. Each file I downloaded carried up to 10 years, so I was facing 6-20 years in prison on two counts, I lost my job of over 20 years at the Post Office, I thought I was going to lose my marriage and spend the rest of my days behind bars.

But God wasn't done with me. When I was in jail He told me I was going to have to tell my story to the world, without fear, and share the dangers of pornography. At first I told God I couldn't do that, people would never understand, I would be an outcast or killed. Then He told me to write the book, which my wife titled Bunk 47. At the sentencing hearing the God showed great mercy on me and I was sentenced to 3 years probation. Six months later I was done writing the book and I began to share my testimony in public places and churches.

Back in 2024 a man came to my house to discuss the book, but when he arrived he said he had a message from God to share with me. He said God was calling me to be a Pastor in his church. My first reaction was "You've got the wrong house! Don't you know what I've done?!" And his response was quick and simple: You can keep running from God or submit to Him, but I will be calling you Pastor Keith.
